Kyle Rayner was in the right place at the right time when Ganthet bestowed him with the last Green Lantern power ring. Now, a few years later Kyle finds himself at that wrong place at the wrong time as power rings from the various lantern corps of the emotional spectrum choose him to be their lantern. When the guardians try and get to the bottom of this Kyle gets a glimpse at what they are up to when his mentor and father figure turns on him.Kyle and the various members of the other corp begin a quest to get to the bottom of things while dealing with a new evil that has made its presence known to the galaxy.This is currently my favorite of the New 52 GL books and I always look forward to Bedard's writing and Kirkham's illustrations.
Obviously as a first volume it needed to build the story. It's very well drawn and gives a fun re-glance at how Kyle became a green lantern. I love Saint Walker so having him in this new series should bee awesome
Good read if your a Kyle Rayner fan, and definitely enjoyed the interaction between the different corps, it's a good read pick this up!
A fantastic setup to what will clearly be an epic story. Kyle Rayner is a fun, exciting character with a lot of good history to him, and this is his story. This is more of a character piece than anything, but that doesn't mean the story itself isn't important. Definitely worth a read, especially if you're as tired of Hal Jordan as I am.
The story flowed good through all comics in this volume. I liked seeing all these different lantern corps members talk/argue.I will definitely get Vol 2 :)My favorite is Saint Walker from the Blue Lanterns.
Great read and great illustration. This is my First time reading Green Lantern and I'm really enjoying this series so far
It was a great comic book overall. I highly recommend it. The comic book has a good start, but a slow and strange middle. The state of the comic book was great.
Not terribly amazing, but feels original and sets up a great third volume.
