After reading a number of reviews (and being a bit confused on the best path) I purchased both this item and the 70-536 Self-paced Traing Kit.The two books (one text and one lab book) in this package are clearly designed to be used along with an instructor. The text skips details and has lots of errors in it. Although the chapters are in different orders, the training kit includes identical material (word for word with the same examples but without the errors), additional material not found in this book and far clearer examples.So...skip this one and buy the training kit.

This book provides an overall good review of the material. It is very helpful in pointing out the little testable details. It is also very helpful at identifying areas in which you are weak and need further practice; however, it does not come anywhere near close to actually helping you learn those topics. After going through a lesson in which I discovered a hole in my knowledge, I had to spend some time on MSDN learning the material.The practice tests that come with the book (on the CD) are all but useless. Here's an example of one of their questions that are supposed to prepare you for the exam.The __________________ type represents a collection that maintains items in a stack.A. this book is for you. I will admit, I am not a big fan of Denise Austin in general, but this book has given me comfort in knowing that I'm not screwing up, my body is just changing. And this books is helping me change right along with it, making the adjustments I need to, to be fit and fabulous. Just two years ago people were commenting on my slimness, that was my 40th birthday, now at 42, nothing is where I left it! But I'm confident this book will help me get the pieces back where they belong and that I'm going to feel wonderful again, both emotionally and physically. And she's real, there's no gimmicks just good education about getting older, common sense and things that anyone can do. THANK YOU DENISE!!!

Easy to use and follow

I have always enjoyed products by Denise Austin and this one is just as good as her other items. She always gives practical advice and normal exercises that most of us can do. Plus she is a great example and lives up to her word.

In great condition

this will keep you stretching and in good shape .if you are getting out of shape try this book plus it gives you something to read.
